How many Muslims would it take to change the world?
Have you ever thought about how many Muslims talk about problems every day when we could be turning them into solutions?
I’ve written about how your problems begin to fade away when you start on the path of goal setting.
Using the skill of goal setting doesn’t only help you overcome your problems as an individual…
It is the key to removing the problems affecting this Ummah as a whole and turn them into solutions—solutions to bring about the massive change we desperately need.
If you believe Muslims should fight…
If you believe Muslims should take back power…
If you have ever shared or agreed with a post calling for Muslims to rise up…
Then I encourage you to answer the following questions:
How many posts and messages about Muslim suffering do you see each day?
How many Muslims tweet, share or say something about rising up, fighting and similar calls for action?
How many of those calls are followed by a complaint or excuse about not being able to do the thing they just demanded (because of having no money, power, blaming a ruler, etc)?
I’m not a mind reader but I’m pretty sure you know this happens A LOT.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say at least one million Muslims post something negative about our circumstances every single day.
I actually think it’s much, much more than one million Muslims—which is only like 0.05% of us—but let’s just say for the sake of argument it’s one million.
What if those one million Muslims turned their negative tweets into positive calls for action?
What if every post about our problems were reworded as a solution?
One million Muslims. Every day.
What would be the impact?
And that’s less than half a percent of us. Are you beginning to see the potential?
This is precisely what Strategic Sunnah is all about.
